The honour roll commemorates Ngarrindjeri indigenous servicemen who served in the various conflucts in which Australia has been involved. 

Ngarrindjeri are the traditional Aboriginal people of the lower Murray River, western Fleurieu Peninsula, and the Coorong of southern, central Australia.
