The hall commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

Baralaba.
A very successful ball was held last Saturday night in McLellans Hall to launch the appeal by the RSSAILA for funds for the building of a Memorial Hall. Door takings were £36 and it is anticipated that the profit for the night will be over £50. It is intended to hold an Armistice ball in November to raise further funds for the erection of the War Memorial Hall.
