Brunswick Heads Memorial HallPrint Page Print this page

The Memorial Hall was erected in memory of those who served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

The annual meeting of Brunswick Heads Hall subscribers decided to invite representatives of the R.S. League to confer on a proposal to build the new hall as a war memorial. The balance sheet showed a balance of £1005. Mr. P. Wakely was appointed Secretary for the 37th term. Election of other officers resulted: President, Mr. V. Lofts; Treasurer, Mr. K. Clarke; Auditor, Mr. J. O'Dell; committee, Mrs. Cornwell and Messrs. T. Mott, D. Hain, A. Cornwell, H. and G. Wraight, P. Devine, P. McMahon, and the trustees.
