The cenotaph commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.  It is circular in shape with black granite columns listing names. 

It was originally dedicated on 11 November 1961, but was restored and re-dedicated on 2 March 2002. The monument is circular in shape with black granite columns listing the names of those who lost their lives.

This plaque was unveiled by Major-General C. A. E. Fraser C.B., C.B.E., B.A. on the 23rd October 1976

This memorial was restored by the City of Lismore RSL Sub Branch and rededicated on March 02 / 2002 by C. E. (Rusty) Priest A.M.
