The hall commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

In October, 1948 Gosford Shire Councillor W. L. Lloyd of Umina laid a foundation stone for the Pearl Beach Memorial Community Hall Construction. Construction was completed in September 1950 with a dedication and official opening ceremony conducted at that time.
