Booborowie District Honour RollPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates those from Booborowie District who served in World Wars One and Two.
Mrs W. J. Shattock and Mrs C. A. Bruce, two mothers who lost sons in World War 11, unveiled the Booborowie Honour Roll at a quiet but impressive ceremony in the Booborowie Institute last Tuesday night. The Chairman of the Honour Roll Committee, Mr W. J. Shattock, thanked all those who had contributed towards the cost of the Roll, and explained that the rather long delay in its preparation was due mainly to the difficulty in obtaining all the names of the World War I enlistments.
