The Hall commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. the hall was opened on May 9th, 1956, by the Premier of Western Australia, the Honourable A. R. G. Hawke.

The road board will get in touch with the Returned Servicemen's League and the Farmers' Union to hold a meeting to discuss the raising of funds to carry out extensions and renovations to the Brookton Hall as a memorial project.
