The plaque commemorates five servicemen who were killed in action in the Korean and Vietnam wars.
Those killed in Vietnam were East Victoria Park residents Private Alec Bell and Lance Corporal Paul Vanrijfewijk and Carlisle resident Christopher Roost.
Carlisle residents Private Allen Head and Private Lawrence Anderson were killed in Korea.
