The monument commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action in World Wars One and Two.
It is housed on two steps set between two flagpoles in front of a rectangular brick paving in which are written the words "Lest We Forget." On either side are two strip rows of hedges. It was consecrated in 1960 by Reverend Father O'Mahoney.
