Memorial GatesPrint Page
The gates commemorate those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The entrance pillars and gate were constructed after World War Two as a commemoration of those who fought for Australia. George Hatton was the manager of the Co-Op and actively involved with the RSL, and was instrumental in organising the pillars and gates. The concrete blocks were made by various members of the community.
