Dedicated to all those who served from 1942 to 1974 with RAAF 61 & 62 Works Wings and Nos 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 14 Works Squadrons and Nos 3, 4, & 9 Works Maintenance Units

In 1944 designated Airfield Construction Squadrons

They constructed airfields and facilities in Australia, New Guinea, Netherland East Indies, Philippines, Borneo, Japan, Korea, Cocos Islands, Malaya, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
