The War Memorial commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

The Forrest Beach Progress Association received an Queensland ANZAC Centenary Grant  of $4730 to install vandalisation-proof lighting and extend and tile the cement area surrounding the memorial.
