Herberton Memorial Bowls Club was dedicated to the fallen of both World Wars.

During World War Two, through a co-operative effort comprising Army personel and and community members, work commenced on the excavation and fill of an area adjacent to the Herberton Shire Hall in Grace Street. This area was to become the Herberton Memorial Bowls Club. Funding for the project was raised by donations and fundraising activities.
