Innisfail Cemetery War MemorialPrint Page
Innisfail Cemetery War Memorial commemorates the fallen from all wars and conflicts. The memorial consists of the original Cross of Remembrance and a cairn erected at a later date.
The original Cross of Remembrance was erected in the cemetery on the 25th April 1933. A short address was made and the names of those buried in the cemetery who served in World War One were read out. The Cross of Remembrance at the cemetery was part of the Anzac service for many years in Innisfail.
