The hall commemorates those who served in World War One, World War Two and the Korean War.

Originally the Bemboka School of Arts, the building was demolished in the late 1950s and a new building named the Bemboka Memorial Hall was built in its place in 1962. The plaque was unveiled and dedicated on ANZAC Day 1963.
