The hall commemorates those who served in World War One.

TULLY. Oct 12. "There is, I feel, a thin veil dividing us from those brave lads who fought and fell over the other side, and I would like all present tonight whenever they cross the threshold of this hall, to remember those brave men and all they did for their country," said Mr. Thomas Briggs (Secretary of the Tully branch of the R.S.S.I.L.A) in dedicating the soldiers memorial hall at EI Arish last night. At the conclusion of the ceremony. Piper Adam Aitken, of the El Arish Pipe Band, rendered the lament, "Lochaber No More," the whole assemblage standing.
