Euroka Public School Honour Roll Print Page

Photographs supplied by Sandra Brown
The honour roll commemorates twelve students and a former teacher who served in World War One.
An interesting function took place in Euroka Public School, Wednesday afternoon last, when an honor roll containing the names of twelve pupils and a former teacher (the late Mr. H. J. Lyndon ) was unveiled in the presence of a number of visitors. Mr. J. R. Allan, the popular teacher, was chairman, and remarked on the pride of the schools in their old pupils who had fought for the freedom of the world. At his request, all present stood with bowed heads as a silent token in memory of fallen soldiers.
