The wooden honour roll commemorates former students of the school who served in World War One.
Pompoon Roll of Honor.—A roll of honor was unveiled at the Pompoon public school last night. It bears the names of 14 old scholars, namely, Major E. E. Stuckey, Privates D. M. T. McRostie, K. B. McRostie, W. Boneham, R. Boneham, R. L. Hutchesson, S. W, Agnew, K, Agnew, A. Osborne, E. Burdon, R. J. Burdon, P. Guerin, W. Serle, and C. Haines.The roll was presented to the school by Messrs Campbell and Ayres, of Millicent, and the lettering was the gratuitous work of Mr R. J. Osmond.
