The wooden honour roll commemorates those connected with the church who served in World War One.

Approval has been given church officers to a proposal by the Rev. W. E. Godson to erect a roll of honour in St. Luke's Church, Brownsville, and Mr. Godson has been empowered to expend up to the sum of £30.The roll will contain the names of all belonging to this church who enlisted, the fallen being denoted by a cross. The tablet on which the double column of names is to inscribed will be of brass set in oak.
