Kanmantoo Soldiers MemorialPrint Page 
The statue of Jesus Christ commemorates Catholic soldiers from Kanmantoo who died in service or were killed in action in World War One.
The statue was unveiled in the St. Thomas Church, Kanmantoo in 1919 and the plate on the statue originally contained the names of the fallen. It was re-located to St Joseph`s Church in Nairne in the 1960s then relocated to this church. The statue was restored in 1996.

In memory of their sons killed in World War I
The statue was brought to St. Joseph`s Church Nairne in the 1960s.
It was restored in August 1996
