Mount Kembla First World War Memorial GrovePrint Page
The memorial grove was planted in memory of the centenary of ANAZAC and those who served in World War One.
Trees were planted along the pathway at Stones Road to commemorate the centenary of ANZAC in 2015 with an additional planting taking place on the 30th July 2017 in memory of the soldiers from the district who lost their lives in 1917, 1918 and 1919.
Funding of $4979 was received in October 2018 through Amistice Centenary Grant Program to install interpretive signage at the grove and publish a small book acknowledging the contributions of World War One soldiers connected to Mount Kembla.
