Charlestown Public School Honour RollPrint Page 
The honour roll commemorates former students of the school who served in World War One.
In the presence of a large audience at the Charlestown Public School last night, Captain Dr.J. C. Douglas, who recently returned from the front unveiled the Parents and Citizens' Association's Roll of honour, containing the names of 55 ex-pupils of the school, who have enlisted. Eight of the soldiers have made the supreme sacrifice. The roll was unveiled to the accompaniment of cheers for the boys.
