The Avenue of Honour was planted to commemorate local soldiers who served in World War One. The trees were planted along the road to the recreation reserve.
Landsborough. In honor of the local soldiers, it is proposed to plant an avenue of trees on the local recreation reserve in the near future. In furtherance of the movement to purchase an honor roll and plant an avenue of trees as a soldiers' memorial, a strong committee has been formed with Mr Woodhouse as secretary
