Photographs supplied by Lisa Perrin

The wooden honour roll commemorates those from the District who served in World War One. This roll replaced the original roll which was unveiled by the Governor of Western Australia on the 13th April 1916.

Kalamunda.
Fully 300 persons including a large number of visitors, attended the combined Anzac Day service in the Agricultural Hall. The authorised service was held, under the guidance of Reverend K Hadley (Anglican) and the Revs. J.A. Sanders and Tom Allen (Methodist).

The Lament was played on the bagpipes by Dr. C.M. Courtenay and at the conclusion Gunner O`Halloran, R.A.G.A., sounded the "Last Post" and "Reveille." A new and enlarged honour board was unveiled by Dr. J. Smyth Yule, president of the R.S.L. sub-branch while Captain C. Collins represented the Base Commandant. A handsome wreath, provided by Mr. and Mrs. Alex Scott, was placed on the honour board.
