Narrogin Memorial ParkPrint Page 
The park commemorates those who served in World War One.
The Memorial Park has associations with the development of Narrogin since the 1890s, originally being part of the police precinct. When Premier James Mitchell visited Narrogin on 8 July 1919, the idea of a memorial park was uppermost in the minds of the Town Council, and the Premier was asked if the Government would give the police paddock to the Town for that purpose. The Premier agreed to the request and an area of a little under 1.25 acres (approx 0.60 ha) was excised from the site and vested in the Town Council. It was gazetted Reserve 17532 as a Soldiers Memorial Site on 24 September 1920.
