The honour roll commemorates those connected with the church who served and those who died in World War One.  The board lists five names.

On Sunday afternoon the honor board of the Hagley Methodist Church was unveiled in the presence of a large congregation. Rev. Woodford, in addressing the gathering, paid a fine tribute to the heroism of the men who had gone forward at the call of duty and so splendidly upheld the honor of the country they went to serve. A tribute was also paid to tbe mothers who had borne so much. Rev. Woodford then called on Mrs R. R. French, whose son's name is among those of the "glorious dead" to unveil the board after which all heads were bowed.

During the service Mrs Woodford sang very sweetly "Sweet Peace, the Gift of God's Love."  The board is of polished wood, and has five panels on which are inscribed in gold the names of E. Daft and C. Viney who served, and V. French, H. Trethewie, and W. Heazlewood, who served and gave their lives.
