St Barnabas Roll of HonourPrint Page 
The wooden roll of honour commemorates those connected with the church who served in World War One.
A special service of an impressive character was held at St. iBarnabas Church at Scottsdale on Sunday in connection with the unveiling of a roll of honor, containing 113 names of men who have given their services in the war. Archdeacon Beresford took the religious part of the service, and was assisted by the rector (Rev. C. W. Wilson, B.A.), while Chaplain Captain Bethune preached an inspiring sermon. The service concluded with a hymn written by one of our soldiers, "Remember, Lord, Australia's' Sons Tonight." The honor roll is of polished blackwood, 8ft by 4ft. The names of the soldiers are in gold letters.
