Holy Trinity Church Roll of HonourPrint Page

The wooden gonour roll commemorates those from the district who served in World War One.
At Holy Trinity Church of England last night a memorial service was held, together with the unveiling of a roll of honour, containing the names of those who have enlisted in the district, and those who have paid the supreme sacrifice. Special hymns were rendered by the choir, whilst an inspiring sermon was delivered by the rector (Rev. B. A. Salisbury).
Examiner (Launceston), 13th May 1918.
Note: The “Tasmanian War Memorials Data Base”, compiled by Fred Thornett which is located at the State Library of Tasmania, contains a comprehensive listing of the names on this honour roll.
