Country Womens` Association MemorialPrint Page 
The seat was presented to the Memorial Park in June 1927 by the Blackall Branch of the Country Womens` Association to commemorate those who served in World War One. The seat was unveiled by the Governor of Queensland on the 11th October 1927 on an official visit to the town. The seat was restored in 1993.
The Country Women's Association has presented a stone seat to the Blackall War Memorial Committee for its Memorial Park. The seat is of brown Helidon freestone, with marble panel inset, and is suitably inscribed.
