Grandchester Roll of HonourPrint Page 
The honour roll commemorates those who served in World War One.
It is contained behind a red wooden glass frame, and the names of those who served are listed in gold lettering. At the top of the roll are painted the Australian and United Kingdom flags, a Coat of Arms, and some military equipment.
Due to vandalism at the station, it is now permanently closed and access to see the honour roll is difficult.
Grandchester Roll of Honour was unveiled by Mrs Arthur Mort on the 20th May 1917 at the railway station in the presence of one of the largest and most represented gatherings ever seen in the town. The decorated roll contains 39 names which are raised and removable.
