The hall commemorates the men of the District who served in World War One.
The Imbil Memorial Hall was opened as a School of Arts on the 13th November 1926 by the Lieutenant-Governor, Mr W. Lennon erected in memory of those who had served in World War One. The official party was received by officials from the Imbil Sub-Branch of the R.S.S.A.I.L.A and a guard of honour of returned soldiers and Girl Guides. An honour board containing the names of those from the district who had lost their lives in the Great War was also unveiled.
