Montacute Roll of HonourPrint Page 

The honour roll commemorates those from the District who served in World War One. It is surrounded on either side with framed photos of those who served.
The Montacute Roll of Honor was unveiled on Sunday by the Hon. P. McM. Glynn. It is of oak, with a massive oak frame, and contains the names in gold lettering, with photographs of the men who have gone from the district. The names are: Sergeant J. Stainbank (killed). Sergeant H. Barnett, Lance-Corporals F. Trebilcock (killed), L. C Curnow (missing), F. N. Trebilcock, Privates G. Gepp, J. Thomas, R. A. Trebilcock, J. Hunter (returned), J. White (killed), C. Collet, A. Miller. M. Leonard (prisoner), P. Amber, J. W. Trebilcock (returned), S. Smith (killed), A. M. Trebilcock, V. R. Taylor (died), C. Sparnon, W. Sparnon, L. E. Trebilcock.
