The honour roll commemorates members P.A.F.S.O.A. Lodge No.8 who served in World War One.
The unveiling ceremony of a handsome honour board, it honour of those members of the True Blue Lodge. No. 8, P.A.F.S.O.A., who enlisted for active service, took place in the Temperance Hall on Saturday night last. Bro. G. H. Shillito presided, and the hall was full to overflowing. The honour board which is almost 6ft square, reflects great credit on the maker (Bro.G Roots) and is considered to be one of the finest boards of its kind in the district. Seventy-seven names are recorded thereon, the lettering having been done by Mr. Lewis, of Silkstone.
