St Dunstan`s Honour RollPrint Page
The wooden honour roll commemorates those connected with the church who served in World War One.
The seating accommodation of St. Dunstan`s, Violet Town, was taxed to its utmost of Sunday night, 14th inst., when Rev. W.A. Williams unveiled the honor-roll, a handsome board of Queensland maple and English oak, containing 41 names. Rev. Williams took as his text John 15:13. "Greater Love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends."
Excerpt from Violet Town Sentinel (Vic), 23 April 1918.
