Eagle Junction State School Memorial Gates Print Page 
The gates commemorate former students and teachers who had served in World War One.
Designed by Evan Smith, the gates were officially opened on the 22 November 1924 by the Governor of Queensland, Sir Matthew Nathan. The memorial was provided largely from funds subscribed to by parents and those interested in the school.
