The plaque commemorates "Cody", an explosive detection dog who served with the Mentoring Task Force 3 in the Afghanistan conflict. Cody was deployed twice to Afghanistan.
Cody, who retired from service in 2012 and went to live in Victoria, was recognised with a Certificate of Appreciation by the International Fund for Animal Welfare on his retirement.
