This plaque was placed here on 24th September, 1982, during the 75th year of Scouting, to commemorate the successful  establishment of Scouting in Healesville in 1950 and the foresight, dedication, and untiring effort in the building of the Scout Hall by G.S.M. Fred Rolph.
