Officially opened by Wellington Shire Mayor
Councillor Gordon Cameron
on Saturday, October 7, 2000.

This project was funded by Wellington Shire Council,
with assistance from the State Government`s
Pride of Place program.

To commemorate the opening a time capsule has
been planted here to be opened in 2050.
