This plaque was unveiled by Cr. I. C. Ross Chairman, District Council of Barossa on 13th November, 1994 as a tribute to the memory of the original committee of the Williamstown War Memorial Community Centre who in 1947 acquired this land as a memorial to all who served in World War II
