Front Inscription
This plaque commemorates the site of the historic Hanging Rock Cemetery
(Surveyed 13 - 8 - 1869, Dedicated 14 - 2 - 1873)
And some of the burials within its grounds and is erected in their remembrance by Australian author Thomas McClelland and was unveiled by Mr. Tony Windsor, M.P.
