The instrument room was formally opened on Friday 7 October 1994 by J. Mortimer, Regional Manager, National Parks and Wildlife Service and Prof. R. Clancy, President of Laperouse Museum Ltd.
The Instrument Room restoration is the result of the efforts of the Friends of Laperouse Museum Ltd and the National Parks amd Wildlife Service.
This plaque acknowledges the funds for the restoration of the Instrument Room provided by the Friends of Laperouse Museum Ltd.
