THIS ANCHOR was presented in June 1994 by local seaman Mr Keith Le Lue
To commemorate the amalgamation of the Seamen`s Union of Australia and the Waterside Workers Federation and to recognise the maritime and waterfront workers, including ships painters and dockers, linesmen ship`s watchmen, shipwrights, seagoing and cargo handling unionists
