A plaque commemorates the opening of the Fassifern Rail Trail.
A trail for walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders, the Fassifern Rail Trail forms a section of the Boonah to Ipswich Trail and follows the disused railway line on the outskirts of Boonah. The Fassifern Rail Trail is being developed in partnership with Scenic Rim Regional Council and local community groups of the Fassifern Valley.
