The monument commemorates the victims of homicide.
It features an oval-shaped garden with a small area for floral tributes and provides a place for people to reflect and remember family members or friends who have been murdered.
It was an initiative of the Homicide Victims’ Support Group, an organisation founded in 1997 to provide support to families affected by homicide.
