The plaque commemorates the centenary of the consecration of Bungonia Anglican Church.

On Wednesday last Christ Christ, Bungonia, commenced during the incumbency of the Rev. B. B. Proctor and finished through the efforts of the Rev. A. O. Mosley, was consecrated by the Right Rev. Dr. Chalmers, Bishop of Goulburn, who was assisted by the Revs. A. O. Mosely, E. B. Procter, A. T. Puddicombe, and P.M Flinn. There was a good congregation, but many were prevented from attending by illness or through illness in their families.
