The stone was laid to commemorate the diamond jubilee of St Carthage`s Parish from July 1929 to July 1989 and marks the opening of St Carthage Gordon Park in 1966 and honours the pastors of the parish.

St Carthage Gordon Park

This commemorative stone was blessed & laid by the Most Rev. Francis R. Rush D.D. on the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee of St Carthage Parish July 1929 - July 1989.

It marks the opening of this Church by Archbishop P. M. O`Donnell on 26th June 1966 and honors our Pastors.
