The Sporting Walk of Fame aims to formally recognise and honour people who have a strong connection to the Town of Victoria Park and have achieved sporting success at an elite level or made significant contributions to the elite sporting arena.
This includes all people who have impacted positively in the realm of elite sport and were, for example, an individual athlete, team player, administrator, official, coach or umpire. Inductions for the Sporting Walk of Fame take place every two years.
The walk began in 2008 and 25 people have been inducted since then.
