The plaque commemorates Community Cricket Week, Randwick Petersham Cricket XI and the Ireland Cricket Team.

On the 6th of February 2015, the Randwick Petersham cricket team played the Ireland cricket team prior to the start of the 2015 Cricket World Cup. In attendance at the unveiling of the plaque were :
