Photographs supplied by Graeme Saunders

The tapestry commemorates the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (M.C.G.).

The 7 metre * 2 metre tapestry traces the history of the M.C.G. through 186 images.

The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) selected the current MCG site in 1853 after previously playing at several grounds around Melbourne.
