Queenscliff Lifeboat Service

1856 - 1976

This memorial cairn is dedicated to the crews of the Queenscliff Lifeboats -

The fishermen, lighthouse personnel and other men who risked their lives by manning the lifeboats which operated in these  dangerous waters during rescues from wrecked, stranded or other vessels in peril.
